Job Description
- As a candidate with 2 years and above of experience, your role will involve being the Single-Point-of-Accountability for ensuring system up-time and always-available-service. You will be responsible for end-to-end managing, monitoring, and maintaining infrastructure on the cloud. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing infrastructure for delivering and running web and mobile applications - Installing and configuring various webservers, databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching systems, queuing systems, and application frameworks - Building automation at various levels, including code deployment to streamline the release process - Defining and setting processes to identify performance bottlenecks or spikes in any of the system performance - Deploying and managing robust monitoring and alerting for the entire infrastructure - Managing user and access management for Linux, version control systems, and other tools - Installing, setting up, and managing an in-house version control system - Setting up continuous integration using Jenkins and other tools - Demonstrating expertise with AWS, Linux, NGINX, GIT, Microservices, Performance optimization, application security, data security, Alerting & monitoring tools, Ansible, and Linux scripting Minimum qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent - 2+ years of experience with various scripting languages - Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration - Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services, with experience in AWS - A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Java, Perl and/or Ruby) - Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service - Working closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance, and operability in mind As an employee at this company headquartered in Kolkata, with offices in Mumbai, you will have access to various benefits and programs such as Reward & Recognition, Employee Engagement, Festival Celebration, Motivational Exercises, Soft Skill & Leadership Training, and Employee Benefits & Programs.
