Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to develop new concepts, materials, and technologies in sheet metal design.

• Design and develop sheet metal components, assemblies, and enclosures using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).

• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, BOM (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with production, quality, and tooling teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.

• Optimize designs for cost, performance, and durability while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

• Conduct design validation, tolerance analysis, and stress analysis using CAE tools.

• Modify and improve existing products to enhance performance and reduce costs.

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material selection and prototyping.

• Stay updated with the latest sheet metal technologies, fabrication processes, and market trends.

• Support in prototype development, testing, and design approval processes.
