System Integration Support Job DescriptionA System Integration Support is responsible for designing and coding software that fits OCHAs businesses needs and requirements
The applicant will work closely with OCHA Donor Relations Section focal point to maintain and develop further OCHA Contribution Tracking application according to the requirements submitted by OCHA OCT business focal point
Key responsibilities include:Responsibilities:- Design and Algorithm Development:Designing algorithms and flowcharts as required or requested by OCHA focal pointo Collaborating with other Trigyn developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
o Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications
o Designing and updating OCT database structure, including integrated applications, websites and other related user interfaces
o Developing, testing, and implementing new codes based on new requirements
o Working in an agile environment to release software on a regular schedule
- Integration and Deployment:o Integrating OCT components and third-party programs
o Verifying and deploy all relevant programs and systems
o Testing on all new changes before deployment on OCT production including put in place system testing and validation procedures
- Maintenance and Improvement:o Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade OCT software as needed
o Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software
o Implementing regular assessment on application front and back end to enhance overall software performance
o Modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces
o Communicating daily with OCT focal point to review and to identify end-user requirements and specifications
- Documentation: as requested by OCHA focal point;o Updating existing OCT related technical documentation and managing code documentation and version control as required or requested by OCHA focal point
Requirements and Skills:o Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role
o Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
o Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
o Computer Science or Advance Computing, or a related field
o Preferable, familiar with OCT application, terminologies, structures and business processes
o Advantage to have copilot, azure DevOps experience, ensures efficient software development, deployment, and maintenance through collaboration, automation, and infrastructure management and other tasks, like;a
