Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Frontend Engineer (SDE-III React.js) to take ownership of building scalable, high-performance, and intuitive applications. This role requires not just advanced coding skills but also technical leadership, mentoring, architectural decision-making, and ensuring operational excellence across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and performant frontend applications using React.js.
- Act as the technical expert in the teamevaluate multiple solution approaches, drive architectural discussions, and guide the team in choosing optimal solutions.
- Ensure operational excellence including performance monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Build, monitor, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
- Define and enforce best practices in coding, performance optimization, accessibility, and security.
- Review and validate software code developed by peers, ensuring quality and maintainability.
- Encourage automation and introduce processes for efficiency improvements and waste minimization.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Provide periodic updates and reports to management and stakeholders on project progress and KPIs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building world-class frontend applications (Web/Mobile).
- Expert-level knowledge in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Redux (or other state management libraries).
- Strong experience with advanced frontend frameworks (ReactJS, PReactJS, Angular, Ember, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, SEO impact of frontend decisions.
- Deep understanding of build systems (Webpack, Rollup, etc.) including code splitting, minification, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) and CI/CD processes.
- Expertise in component-based UI architecture and frontend performance optimization.
- Proficient with Git and modern version control workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with prior experience guiding teams.
- Working knowledge of Agile principles, DevOps concepts, and security best practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering (SSR).
- Exposure to Micro-Frontends architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Hands-on experience with UI libraries (Material-UI, Ant Design, Tailwind CSS).
