Description
At Vitech, were hiring experienced Java Developers with 45 years of hands-on coding experience who are ready to step into a full-stack role. If youre looking for a role that challenges you to build real products, learn new technologies, and work in agile teamsthis is it.Youll be joining a global team developing software for leading insurance and retirement organizations, working across Java, React, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL.
What you will do:
- Build and maintain scalable Java full-stack applications using Spring Boot, ReactJS, and SQL.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs as part of modern web architecture.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code across backend and frontend layers.
- Collaborate in agile teams and participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and releases.
- Innovate and build new featuresup to 40% of your time will be focused on writing new software.
What We're Looking For:
- 45 years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Strong command of Core Java, including OOP principles, inheritance, interfaces, and abstract classes.
- Proficient with Spring Boot and Hibernate for backend development.
- Hands-on experience building user interfaces with ReactJS (or similar modern JavaScript frameworks).
- Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- AWS Certification (Cloud Practitioner or above).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization.
- Interest in reactive programming or cloud-native development.
