The Renewals Specialist plays a critical role in protecting recurring revenue and strengthening long-term customer relationships. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing of renewals, achieving revenue and audit targets, and supporting QAD s reputation as a trusted partner.
Responsibilities
Review and validate account workflows to ensure quotes are delivered on time and purchase orders are processed accurately and promptly.
Manage a group of accounts through the renewal cycle, directly responsible for renewal outcomes.
Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual maintenance renewal revenue targets.
Update forecasts regularly with renewal status, commentary, and risk identification.
Represent Renewals to Channel Accounts and internal stakeholders, acting as a visible advocate for the organization.
Ensure comprehensive management of lapsed accounts, including escalation and maintaining renewal history.
Collect and manage User Count Audit (UCA) files, meeting quarterly audit targets.
Evangelize the importance of renewals within QAD, with customers, and with partners.
Exercise discretion in financial decisions such as discounting, within established guidelines.
Demonstrate ownership of tasks, ensure quality completion, and show willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Bachelor s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
1 2 years of experience in contract renewals or related customer-facing functions.
