Senior Software Engineer @ Cbts

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python and frameworks like Django or Flask.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps teams.

• Write and maintain automated test suites using Pytest .
• Develop unit, integration, and functional tests for backend components.
• Implement test-driven development (TDD) practices.
• Ensure high test coverage and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Document code, test cases, and development processes.
• Work closely with QA engineers and product managers to define test strategies.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong experience with Pytest and other testing frameworks (e.g., unittest, coverage).
• Familiarity with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with mocking libraries (e.g., pytest-mock).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools.
