Job Description
- As a Mission Design Software Developer at Agnikul, your role will involve optimizing trajectories for launch vehicles to reach orbit efficiently, collaborating with Propulsion and GNC Engineers to code engine characterization, simulations, and integrate programs into flight control algorithms, and working on interdisciplinary trades for vehicle level configuration optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Optimize trajectories for launch vehicles to achieve orbit efficiently - Code engine characterization, conduct simulations, and integrate programs into flight control algorithms in collaboration with Propulsion and GNC Engineers - Engage in interdisciplinary trades with Avionics, GNC, Thermal, and Structures teams to optimize vehicle level configuration Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, electrical engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline - Understanding of basic physics principles behind projectile motion - Applied experience in coding with an object-oriented language - Willingness to work long hours and weekends when required In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the trajectory of the company and rockets, learn rocket science from experienced professionals, contribute to shaping space policy in India, and engage in solving global supply chain optimization challenges.
