Job Description
- As a Mobile Test Automation Lead / Architect, your role involves leading the design and development of scalable mobile test automation frameworks for iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for conducting tool feasibility studies, recommending best-fit solutions for automation needs, and architecting CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and continuous integration. Collaborating with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery is crucial. Your role also includes mentoring and guiding automation engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will own and drive automation strategy, planning, and execution across multiple projects, ensuring high-quality code through code reviews, best practices, and logical problem-solving. Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies in mobile automation is essential. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of scalable mobile test automation frameworks for iOS and Android platforms. - Conduct tool feasibility studies and recommend best-fit solutions for automation needs. - Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and continuous integration. - Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. - Mentor and guide automation engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. - Own and drive automation strategy, planning, and execution across multiple projects. - Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, best practices, and logical problem-solving. - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in mobile automation. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on mobile applications. - Expert-level proficiency in Appium and Python for mobile automation. - Proven experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch. - Strong understanding and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). - Experience with version control systems like Git and test management tools. - Excellent problem-solving, logical reasoning, and coding skills is a must. - Ability to mentor and lead teams while remaining hands-on with technical tasks. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
