- **Role Overview:** As a Data Engineer and Analyst in the global Engineering Planning and Reporting team at Siemens Energy, your days will be dynamic and engaging. You will play a crucial role in supporting the digitalization demands of Compression Engineering and Product Management. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize data processes, and ensuring the usability and quality of Power BI reports. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure for a global Engineering organization. - Collaborate with data and process owners to optimize data extraction, transformation, and analysis. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create effective data visualizations in Power BI. - Ensure usability, accessibility, and aesthetic quality of Power BI reports and dashboards. - Optimize solutions for performance and scalability. - Implement data governance practices, including data access controls and role-level security. - Maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and data transformation processes. - Conduct user testing and gather feedback to enhance user experience. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience with business intelligence, data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes. - Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, including DAX and Power Query. - Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and collaboration skills. - Preferred: familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software (e.g., Jira). - Preferred: familiarity with Engineering processes and systems (e.g., SAP, Teamcenter). **About The Company:** Siemens Energy is a global energy technology company with a commitment to developing sustainable energy systems.
