What will your role look like

• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for Power BI dashboards, Power Apps solutions, and related integrations.
• Validate data accuracy, performance, functionality, and visualizations in Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Test Power Apps features, including forms, workflows, and business logic.
• Identify, report, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure updates and enhancements do not impact existing functionality.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and end-users to design effective test scenarios.
• Explore opportunities for test automation in Power BI and Power Apps environments.
• Maintain testing documentation, create reusable templates, and continuously enhance QA processes.

We would like you to bring along

• Strong understanding of Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
• Familiarity with Power Apps (Canvas, Model-driven Apps, workflows).
• Hands-on experience with testing web-based applications.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data validation techniques.
• Familiarity with APIs and Power Automate workflows.
• Proficiency with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of QA testing experience, preferably in Power BI and Power Apps environments.

Good-to-have skills

• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, PowerShell, or custom scripts for Power Platform).
• Knowledge of Azure services such as Azure SQL and Data Factory.
• Proven experience in testing data visualizations and low-code/no-code applications.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
