Job Title: NMS/OSS Solution Delivery Engineer
Location: Hyderabad

Reports To: NMS/OSS Solution Architect
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced NMS/OSS Solution Delivery Engineer with 6 to 12 years of experience in deploying and supporting network management and OSS solutions in customer-facing environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in solution delivery, SLA management, documentation, and design optimization, working closely with senior architects to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement of NMS/EMS/OSS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Delivery & Deployment:
- Lead or support on-site and remote deployments of NMS/EMS/OSS platforms across telecom, enterprise, and government networks.
- Act as a technical point of contact for customers during deployment and post-deployment phases.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions in line with project timelines and SLAs.
Design Support & Optimization:
- Assist senior architects in reviewing and refining High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
- Provide feedback and suggestions for design improvements based on field experience and customer feedback.
- Participate in solution validation, testing, and optimization activities.
SLA Management & Reporting:
- Monitor solution performance and support SLA tracking and compliance.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify and resolve SLA breaches or performance issues.
- Generate and present SLA and performance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
- Prepare and maintain deployment guides, as-built documentation, and customer-facing manuals.
- Support knowledge transfer sessions and training for customer operations teams.
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with senior solution architects, project managers, and customer teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.
- Provide technical support during UAT, go-live, and stabilization phases.
Required Technical Skills:
- 612 years of experience in NMS/EMS/OSS deployment and support.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as OpenText NNM/NoM, Zabbix, Cisco Prime, Netcool, or similar.
- Understanding of North-Bound and South-Bound integrations (SNMP, REST, SOAP, XML/JSON).
- Exposure to ITOM and ITIL processes, especially incident, change, and problem management.
- Experience with ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, SMAX, Remedy, JIRA).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Shell, Perl) and basic database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with network technologies (IP/MPLS, LTE/5G, SD-WAN, DWDM).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (IT, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field).
- Certifications or training in ITIL, ServiceNow, or relevant OSS/NMS platforms.
- Experience in customer-facing roles and solution delivery in telecom or enterprise environments.
Work Environment:
- On-Site work model with occasional travel to client sites.
- Collaborative and delivery-focused environment with opportunities to grow into a senior architect role.
