Senior Engineer - Deployment & Rollout | C-DOT @ National Institute

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Configuration of 4G Core (EPC/IMS) nodes and switches.
• Monitoring of Data Centre (main and mini).
• Private patch loading and testing.
• 4G call flow analysis through Wireshark.
• Installation, Acceptance testing and commissioning and day to day activities to be performed at office and various sites PAN India.
• System integration and testing in C-DOT lab and at various PAN India sites.
• Interfacing with various government and non-government customers for resolution of issues coming in their network.
• Frequent travelling across different cities (Pan India)

Skills

• Experience of installation, deployment and support of different elements of 2G/3G/4G/5G network
• Experience of working on Network management and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environment, shell scripting and Cloud.
• Knowledge of Architecture of EPC & IMS as well as different Call flows in 4G/Volte Network
• Good grasp on different Debugging Tools like Wireshark, Tcpdump, Tethereal
• Knowledge of VOIP, SIP, Megaco, Diameter, MAP, GTP etc.
• Knowledge of Networking Protocols i.e. OSPF, BGP, ACL, MPLS
• Comfortable with frequent Travelling/Field Visit at Customer site

BE/BTech (ECE/CSE/IT)
