Job Summary
As a Consulting Manager specializing in IoT-Devices and Sensors within the Industry 4.0 domain you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation for our clients in the industrial manufacturing sector. With a hybrid work model and no travel requirements you will leverage your expertise to deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of IoT solutions tailored to the needs of industrial manufacturing clients.Oversee the integration of sensors and devices to optimize production processes and improve data collection.Provide strategic guidance to clients on leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies to achieve business objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IoT architectures.Analyze client requirements and develop customized solutions that align with their operational goals.Ensure the successful execution of projects by managing timelines resources and deliverables.Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate clients on the benefits and applications of IoT technologies.Monitor industry trends and advancements to keep clients informed of new opportunities and innovations.Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.Evaluate the performance of implemented solutions and recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency.Develop and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and effectiveness of consulting services.Contribute to the companys growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding service offerings. QualificationsPossess a deep understanding of IoT-Devices and Sensors with hands-on experience in implementation.Demonstrate expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies and their applications in industrial manufacturing.Exhibit strong analytical skills to assess client needs and develop tailored solutions.Showcase excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts.Hold a proven track record of managing successful projects within the specified domain.Display the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.Have a keen interest in staying updated with the latest industry trends and innovations.Client Engagement and Requirement Analysis: Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements. Conduct thorough requirement analysis to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs.Solution Design and Presentation: Develop and present customized Industry 4.0 solutions showcasing the technical capabilities and benefits of our products. Prepare detailed proposals and technical documentation to support sales activities.Technical Support and Demonstrations: Provide technical support during the sales process including conducting product demonstrations proof of concepts and answering technical queries from clients.Collaboration with Sales and Engineering Teams: Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for winning new business. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure solutions are feasible and align with product capabilities.Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on the latest trends technologies and competitors in the Industry4.0 space. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and strategies for differentiation.Skills
15+ years of experience in designing solutions for shopfloor operations with bachelors degree in engineering Computer Science or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
Expertise in OT technologies such as PLC Unified Namespace IT/OT integration Cloud and AI technologies.
Strong domain knowledge in at least one of the following: Auto Discrete Manufacturing Pharma Consumer Goods with experience in Operations Maintenance and Quality value streams.Experienced atleast in one of manufacturing Operation applications like MES EAM LIMS etc.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and travel to site location based on the need
Nice to have
Experience with Omron technology or any Industrial automation OEMs like ABB Schneider Electric Honeywell Yokogawa Siemens GE AB
Ability to speak and write Japanese is a plus(only for Japan/India requirement).
