Test Engineer (Automation) @ Recruitsy

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium and Java.
  
• Create, enhance, and execute test scripts for Android and iOS platforms.
  
• Perform end-to-end automation testing across mobile and web applications.
  
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and identify automation opportunities.
  
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and continuous testing.
  
• Conduct defect tracking, debugging, and root cause analysis for test failures.
  
• Prepare test reports and ensure proper documentation of test cases, execution, and outcomes.
  
• Stay updated on the latest trends in mobile testing tools and technologies.
  Role & responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  
• 3+ years of experience in automation testing with a focus on mobile applications.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation.
  
• Proficiency in Selenium and Java for test script development.
  
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns.
  
• Experience in mobile device testing (Android/iOS) and simulators/emulators.
  
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software testing lifecycle.
  
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
