Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Presales Specialist with proven experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and a strong flair for presentations and client engagement. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by understanding customer requirements, demonstrating WMS solutions, and crafting compelling proposals tailored to client needs.
Role & responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and design customized WMS solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, and technical presentations to clients and prospects.
- Prepare detailed proposals, solution documents, and RFP responses.
- Liaise with product and technical teams to ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with the product roadmap.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical queries during the sales cycle.
- Analyze customer operations and propose improvements through WMS functionalities.
- Support proof-of-concept (PoC) development and pilot implementations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in supply chain and warehouse automation.
Preferred candidate profile
- BE & MBA in operations and supply chain.
- 5-10 years of experience in presales or solution consulting, preferably in WMS or logistics technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business benefits.
- Experience in preparing customer-facing documents such as proposals, SoWs, and functional specifications.
- Certification or hands-on experience in a leading WMS platform
- Familiarity with integration of WMS with ERP, TMS, or automation systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
