Job Description
Job Accountabilities
- Primary role will be to facilitate the Design from Concept to the execution stage
- Assisting the consultants with all issues faced by them and playing an active role in assisting them for resolution of the same with other stakeholders. This includes interface with other vendors / technical details / engineering and submittals / coordination with Procurement & Contracts group.
- Should possess knowledge of various Construction materials and systems.
- Guiding the Planning dept. for release of scope of works and effective monitoring of the Design schedule.
- Periodic review of the design progress and trouble shooting in case of delays.
- Recommending guidelines for finalization of contractors & vendors.
- Coordination with other depts. all the needs & requirement pertaining to the project.
- Issuing guidelines for implementation of all statutory requirements pertaining to the Design
- Giving all necessary technical inputs/ reports / clarification to all the depts. involved in the project.
Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)
- Co ordination with the various consultants
- Knowledge of Materials / Sequencing / Protection of finished works
- Understanding overall construction sequence and accordingly plan, coordinate and implement various design activities taking care of various inter disciplinary interfaces
- Good understanding of the interior materials and should be able to make material palettes
- Knowledge in Construction technology & Management, Codes and Standards
Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)
Necessary
- B. Architecture
- 8 to 18 years experience. Preferably worked on major projects with high rise and finishes elements. A minimum of 2 projects such as 5 star hotel, Hospitals / Club / Mall / Luxury Residences.
Desirable:
- Post-Graduation is preferred.
- Overseas Experience is desirable
