The Group: Morningstars AdviserLogic is an end-to-end financial planning software platform for the Australian market, designed by an adviser for advisers. The solutions leverage Morningstars extensive data and research capabilities across all stages of financial advice making the advice process compliant, efficient, and effective.  
 
The Role:  
 
We are looking for an execution-focused product manager to join us as the product owner of an agile squad. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the financial services industry with an emphasis on portfolio construction, calculation, or data dissemination. Should have analytical mind along with problem solving and excellent communication skills. You should have a strong background in product management and should be experienced in guiding crossfunctional teams to success using hybrid project management practices. Experience in planning and successfully delivering product features, including the oversight of product charters and key metrics, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment is critical. The ability to communicate clearly at all levels, form strong relationships with stakeholders and proactively identify and manage risks is essential in this role. This position is based in our Gurgaon office.  
 
Responsibilities:  
 
Work within an Agile software development framework, develop business requirements and user stories refined and validated with customers and stakeholders, prioritize the backlog queue across multiple projects and workstreams, and ensure high quality execution working with development and business analyst squad members.   Define and manage roadmap for the squad. Drive complete financial projects and share stage-wise execution plans.   Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurements of product success (ex: product revenue, product profitability, customer satisfaction, quality, cost implications, forecasts, etc.)   Regularly conduct research & development for competitions, whats new and product feasibility and forecast.   Assist in the enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.   Prioritize multiple tasks effectively and ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved.   Perform risk management to minimize project risks   Collaborate with end-users to gather feedback on existing products and ideas on new enhancements.   Work with other product and capability owners from across the organization and lead the Product management initiatives.  
 
Requirements:  
 
5+ years of working experience in the Product Management discipline having 8+ yrs. of overall experience.  

A minimum of a masters in finance (MBA or PGDM) 
Familiarity with Financial products will be a huge plus Utilizes user research, product usage data, client services, sales, and direct user interactions to identify unmet user needs and opportunities for improvement.   Should have working experience on creating Product Roadmap, Project Scope, Requirement Gathering and documenting.   Should have experience in working with different teams Global product manager(s), development team(s), test team(s), Senior product manager, product stakeholders.   Working Agile Experience Scrum methodology, JIRA or equivalent story writing tool, Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Story Estimation and Prioritization, creation of user stories, acceptance criteria.   Should have excellent verbal and written English communication skills, and an outgoing personality that enjoys connecting with and motivating people.   A demonstrated ability to complete analysis and document requirements for multiple complex projects concurrently.   Strong inter-personal skills, time management/organization, and troubleshooting, good analytical and problem-solving skills.   A proven record in supporting large projects with aggressive timelines.   Self-starter and detail oriented.
