Job Description
- As a QA Automation Engineer at Atlas Systems Inc., your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright and Python. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automation pipelines integrated with Azure CI/CD, conducting API testing using Rest Assured, and developing and maintaining BDD test scripts using Cucumber. Additionally, you will perform ETL/Data Warehouse testing (both manual and automated) preferably using Great Expectations or other BI/DW tools, execute validation and testing of Power BI dashboards and reports, collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to ensure test coverage and quality, and use version control tools like Git for code collaboration and management. You will also participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright and Python. - Build and maintain automation pipelines integrated with Azure CI/CD. - Conduct API testing using Rest Assured. - Develop and maintain BDD test scripts using Cucumber. - Perform ETL/Data Warehouse testing (manual + automated), preferably using Great Expectations or other BI/DW tools. - Execute validation and testing of Power BI dashboards and reports. - Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to ensure test coverage and quality. - Use version control tools (e.g., Git) for code collaboration and management. - Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in UI and API automation testing. - Strong hands-on knowledge of Playwright and Python. - Experience in Azure CI/CD pipelines for test automation. - Proficiency in API testing with Rest Assured. - Preferred working knowledge in Cucumber BDD test automation. - ETL/Data Warehouse testing (manual + automated) with tools like Great Expectations or equivalent. - Power BI testing expertise. - Experience with version control systems (Git or similar).
