Lead Python Engineer @ Equavantage Consulting

Job Description

As a Lead Full Stack (Backend heavy) Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and contributing to the development of both backend and frontend components of projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Utilizing your 10+ years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, and Django. - Leveraging your expertise in frontend technologies like React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS to create engaging user interfaces. - Implementing microservices architecture and working in containerized environments using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS. - Demonstrating proficiency in designing REST APIs, implementing rate limiting, ensuring security best practices, and optimizing performance. - Working with both NoSQL and SQL databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and ClickHouse. - Deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferably AWS) and setting up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. - Collaborating with distributed teams in agile environments, focusing on system design and cloud architecture certifications, and demonstrating excellent communication skills.
