Job Description
- As a Consultant, SAP FICO Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Genpact, your role involves hands-on work experience in SAP FICO. You will be responsible for working on multiple major SAP implementation projects, specifically focusing on SAP S4 HANA/New General Ledger. Your responsibilities will include developing SAP solutions and Proof of Value (POV) in the area of SAP FICO along with S4 HANA Simple Finance. Integration experience with third-party tools and working with banks is also a crucial aspect of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Experience in New General Ledger/Controlling, including multi-currency operations, currency revaluation & translation, document splitting, non-leading ledger, reconciliation ledger, profit center accounting, financial close, and intercompany processing. - Define systems strategies/requirements, prototype, test, train, and implement practical business solutions. - Lead Proof of Concept, SAP Enterprise Blueprint sessions, and develop business cases with cross-functional teams. - Manage the execution of the Record to Report (R2R) processes for the operating division. - Knowledge of New GL concepts, Localization (Tax systems), COPA (Profitability Analysis), and Product Coasting (CPOC). - Ensure timely completion of processing, financial closing, reconciliations, internal/external reports, balance sheet integrity, and resolution of unreconciled items. - Provide financial reporting and analysis, budget/forecasting, working capital, Group reporting, supplementary packs, and ad-hoc requests. - Publish financial results in SAP FC promptly and follow all R2R processes. - Support annual or unplanned audits as required (internal, external, etc.). Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum Qualifications: - Graduation: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/MCA Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - SAP and other industry certifications would be advantageous. - Experience in analyzing processes for improvement, efficiency, and cost reduction. - Ability to work in a global business environment with knowledge of acquisitions, global processes, and transactional flows. - Highly organized, diligent with attention to detail. - Technical accounting competence, research skills, issue resolution, and compliance with IFRS. - Excellent analytical skills with a focus on delivering financial targets.
