Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to manage and grow our retail/apparel business in Bangalore and nearby regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, team management, and channel development in the apparel or fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets in assigned territory.
- Manage a network of retail outlets / distributors / franchise stores across the region.
- Ensure store profitability, footfall growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor store performance, visual merchandising, inventory management, and stock replenishment.
- Recruit, train, and mentor Sales Executives / Store Managers.
- Coordinate with the HO for product launches, marketing campaigns, and stock allocation.
- Regularly visit stores to audit operations, resolve issues, and provide support.
- Analyze sales trends and market data to identify new opportunities and improve performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, operational SOPs, and reporting systems.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience in the apparel, fashion retail, and textile industry
- Strong territory knowledge of Bangalore and the surrounding regions
- Proven ability to manage multiple stores, retail points, and channel partners
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region
