About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, a passion for building robust data pipelines, and a keen interest in the rapidly evolving fields of AI, machine learning, and large language models. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure needed for data-driven applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and manage scalable and reliable data pipelines using Python.
- Develop and implement data ingestion processes from various sources into our data ecosystem.
- Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to build data-driven solutions.
- Optimize and fine-tune data systems for performance and efficiency.
- Implement best practices for data quality, governance, and security.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering and AI/ML.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 4-6 years of professional experience in a Data Engineer role.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python is a must.
- Data Technologies: Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data warehousing solutions.
- AI/ML: Practical experience or strong understanding of concepts related to AI/ML, LLM (Large Language Models), and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Location: This is a full-time position based in our Pune office.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
