Desired Candidate Profile
Point of purchase has historically driven more than 70% purchase decisions, hence the consumer engagement at the point of purchase and excellence in execution is critical to success. The incumbent will be responsible for, not limited to, execution of all trade marketing initiatives in the organization across India for all commercial channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities for the role include:
1. Trade Promotions
Development of promotional plans generated from trade opportunity insights and competition activity
Work closely with sales teams, market research and brand team in order to align trade programs with objectives and characteristics of customer segments
Execute trade promotions, partner events as per shared guidelines
Manage agencies in the implementation and evaluation of promotions
Support the brand team in the activity planning process, clarifying trade programs objectives, activities, and schedule
Assist brand teams in the development of POS material for all channels
2. Trade Visibility
Work closely with Procurement Officer for of branding materials, POS, Merchandise and other resources required for the promotions.
Management of all regional local requirements relative to the campaign.
Carry out weekly audits as per market itineraries to evaluate execution as per standard.
Manage appointed agencies & training of merchandisers of a picture of success
In liaison with retail manager develop itineraries and routes for merchandisers
3. Events & Conferences
Responsible for execution of conference booths as per the artworks shared.
Ensure quality execution and coordinate the requirement of merchandise.
Execute Trade & partner engagement events, as dealer and distributor meet.
4. Retail store branding
Ensure retail store location is at a vantage point and within retail standards
Supervise and coordinate with the supplier to ensure timely execution of Store branding as per signed off artwork
Conduct regular audits and maintenance.
5. Agency and Supplier management
Develop and manage close relationships with agencies and suppliers
Drive cost productivity in procurement.
Ensure production and deliveries as per agreed TATs.
Expected Skillset-
2-3 Years of experience in trade marketing, preferred experience in FMCG, FMCD companies
Min requirement: Bachelor degree
A go-getter and a quick learner should be able to adapt according to the markets working in to extract the desired output
Ability to meet stringent TATs and ensure quality work and quick turn arounds
Strong negotiation skills
Strong practical creativity is a must
Curious to learn and grow
Good written and verbal communication skills
Education:
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization
PG: Post Graduation Not Required
