Job Title: Business Analyst CIS/CRM (Power & Utility Domain)
Location: Patna / Bihar
Experience: 4 to 8 years

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and domain-savvy Business Analyst with experience in Customer Information Systems (CIS) or CRM modules within the Power & Utility sector. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into system functionalities, supporting software implementation or enhancement projects across utility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders (business users, technical teams, vendors) to understand and document business requirements.
- Analyze and map existing CIS/CRM processes, identify gaps, and propose improvement strategies.
- Convert functional requirements into detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and workflows.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and system walkthroughs.
- Support implementation and customization of CIS/CRM modules.
- Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing), prepare test cases, and ensure end-to-end traceability.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to ensure solution alignment with business goals.
- Track project progress, document changes, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Provide post-go-live support, training, and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in CIS or CRM modules in the utility domain.
- Strong understanding of utility business processes like customer onboarding, billing, metering, and complaint management.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in working on SAP IS-U, Oracle Utilities (CC&B), or similar CIS/CRM platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in Indian power distribution/utilities.
- Fluency in Hindi and English. Local knowledge of Bihar region preferred.
Work Location:
- Onsite at Patna, Bihar
- Willingness to travel within Bihar for project-related engagements (if required)
