Calpion Software Technologies Private Ltd is looking for Manager - Salesforce QA to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.Job Description: Salesforce QA (Quality Assurance)Position Summary:The Salesforce QA (Quality Assurance) is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications and processes within an organization. They work closely with the development and business teams to create and execute test plans, identify software defects, and ensure that the Salesforce platform meets the desired quality standards. The Salesforce QA must have strong knowledge of Salesforce functionality, testing methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.Key Responsibilities:Test Planning and Design:Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand system requirements and user stories.Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.Identify test data requirements and develop or acquire suitable data sets for testing.Define test objectives, test scope, and success criteria for each testing phase or cycle.Test Execution and Defect Management:Execute test cases and test scripts to validate Salesforce functionality, integration, and customizations.Conduct both manual and automated testing, ensuring thorough coverage of test scenarios.Record and track defects or issues using defect tracking tools, such as JIRA or Salesforce's own defect tracking system.Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to investigate, reproduce, and prioritize defects for resolution.Validate defect fixes and perform regression testing to ensure the overall system stability.Test Automation and Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts using testing frameworks or tools (e.g., Selenium, Apex, or Salesforce DX).Maintain and enhance the automated test suite to increase testing efficiency and coverage.Continuously review and refine testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospective meetings to provide QA insights and contribute to process improvement efforts.Documentation and Reporting:Document test results, including test execution logs, defects, and any deviations from expected behavior.Create clear and concise reports summarizing test coverage, test results, and overall system quality.
