Mainframe 2 (3-5 Yrs ) - Chennai.

- Product Stability: Directly collaborate with a large, cross-functional, global team. Maintain stability of the production environment by providing bug fixes to production incidents and minor enhancements
The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical (primary)
- You must possess strong background on COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, MVS, Endeavor ISPF, TSO, CICS, Control-M, and basic IBM utilities.
- Analysis of complex mainframe programs is a must skill.
- You must be experienced in maintaining systems in the MVS mainframe environment.
- You should have worked in Mainframe application development.
- You should be able to negotiate, influence and work with business peers and management.
- You should have experience of working in an agile environment
- Ability to understand the requirements and come up with end-to-end optimal solution
- Should possess strong analytical skills to review the production problems reported
- Able to do unit testing
Behavioral Skills
- You should possess highly proficient written and verbal communication skills in the English language
- You should possess exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Connect with business partners on critical requirements and work with different teams to derive the solution
- Must be capable of fixing complex processes quickly and have the ability to learn through independent research.

- Knowledge on Micro-Services Architecture concepts and emerging patterns such as APIs, Web Services (REST/SOAP).
- Knowledge in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, SpringBoot.

- Bachelors degree or equivalent academic/practical experience.
- 3-5 years of IT industry experience with Mainframe development experience
- Good understanding of the financial services industry.
