Hiring Production Support @ Transformhub

Job Description

We are looking for a Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Infrastructure and Network support to manage and ensure smooth operations of business-critical applications within the BFSI domain. The role requires hands-on experience in production support, incident management, and coordination with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 production support for BFSI applications and systems.
• Monitor infrastructure and network performance, ensuring system availability and stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers, networks, and application environments.
• Perform incident, problem, and change management in line with ITIL practices.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams to ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fixes.
• Support deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes in production.
• Maintain documentation of processes, system configurations, and support procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in BFSI production support environments.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure support (Windows/Linux servers, storage, virtualization, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in Network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, VPNs, switches).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Splunk, AppDynamics, Zabbix).
• Familiarity with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) for query execution and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in automation/scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
• Prior experience in supporting core banking / payment systems / trading platforms.
