Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
A Lead Data Analyst oversees data analysis processes to derive business insights, leading a team to gather, analyze, and present data. Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to understand needs, designing and implementing data analysis methods, establishing data quality standards, and communicating actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making. Success requires strong analytical and technical skills, statistical knowledge, proficiency with data tools, and excellent communication abilities to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
- Business Partnership: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, strategies, and goals, translating them into actionable analytical projects.
- Data Management & Quality: Oversee the acquisition, verification, and maintenance of data, ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and quality for reliable analysis.
- Advanced Analysis & Insights: Apply advanced analytical and quantitative methods to complex datasets, uncover trends, and identify opportunities for business growth and optimization.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop and present clear, compelling dashboards and reports that communicate complex data insights and recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Process Improvement: Design and implement innovative data analysis processes, evaluate internal systems for efficiency, and provide recommendations to enhance workflows.
- Team Leadership & Guidance: Lead, mentor, and provide tactical/strategic guidance to a team of data analysts, delegating tasks and fostering a data-driven culture.
Tech Skills Required for this position:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of statistical methods, data modeling, and programming languages(Python, R) , strong experience in SQL (advanced SQL is more recommended)
* Strong experience in Data Warehousing, Data Visualization, Data Analytics, etc.,
* Good exposure in end-to-end SDLC using Agile and Waterfall methodologies or other.
* Experience in documentations - BRD, FSD or others.
* Proficient in ETL or Snowflake
- Analytical Acumen: Deep understanding of data analysis tools, with the ability to conduct complex analyses, interpret findings, and validate others' techniques.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate complex analytical findings, recommendations, and technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Capacity to connect data insights to broader business strategies, identifying opportunities and risks to inform decision-making.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, conduct root cause analyses, and propose effective solutions independently.
Experience Required: 6+ Years of Experience in Data Analatics.
