Role Infrastructure Site Transitions
Work Location: Customer place, BCIT Bangalore (all 5 days in a week)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to lead infrastructure-related transitions including site moves, closures, and new site setups. This role involves end-to-end project ownership, stakeholder coordination, and delivery of seamless infrastructure operations during transitional phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience in infrastructure project management.
Plan and execute infrastructure projects for site relocations, closures, and new setups.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, facilities, security, and external vendors.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during transitions.
Oversee decommissioning of legacy infrastructure and setup of new environments.
Manage asset inventory, logistics, and documentation for all site transitions.
Conduct site readiness assessments and post-move evaluations.
Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on project status and milestones.
Utilize ServiceNow for project tracking, task management, reporting, and workflow automation.
Proven track record in site transition projects (move, closure, setup).
Hands-on experience managing projects using ServiceNow.
Strong knowledge of Networking, Hosting, Workplace, hardware deployment, and facility coordination.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with ITIL.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in global or multi-site environments.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, etc).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
