Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Python API & AWS Developer with 6 9 years of experience in API development and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in FastAPI , AWS services , and relational database management, along with experience working in Agile environments. This role will focus on designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and efficient APIs and cloud applications.
II. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy APIs using Python (FastAPI framework) .
- Build and maintain scalable solutions using core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Write and optimize SQL queries and perform database performance tuning on AWS RDS.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance of deployed solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and testing activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root cause analysis and resolution.
6 9 years of experience in API development, AWS, and relational databases.
IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional): - Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- AWS Developer/Architect certification (preferred).
Must Have:
- Proficiency in Python API development using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of AWS core services : EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS.
- SQL expertise for querying, managing data, and performance tuning .
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum ceremonies.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Oracle Application R12 .
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Kompass or other DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, namespaces, scaling, monitoring) and writing YAML configuration files.
- Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi for data ingestion and transformation.
- Strong Oracle PL/SQL skills for stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Experience with Oracle SOA Suite and BPEL for orchestrating business processes.
