We're Hiring: SAP S/4 HANA FI Consultant (with ABAP Interface/Debugging Skills)
Location: Banalore/Hybrid
Experience: 8 to 12 Years
Project Type: Support Project
Employment Type: [Full-Time / Contract]
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4 HANA FI Consultant with strong knowledge in Financial Accounting and ABAP interface troubleshooting to support ongoing SAP projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a dynamic support environment with integrations across modules and third-party systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on SAP S/4 HANA FI modules including:
- General Ledger (New G/L), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank & Cash, Asset Accounting, Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders
- Involved in requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing & post-go-live support
- Manage cross-functional integrations with MM, SD, and PS
- Handle tax configurations (TDS, VAT), lease accounting, and month-end/year-end activities
- Support Business Partner (BP) configuration
- Utilize basic ABAP debugging to assist with issue resolution
- Write Functional Specifications and collaborate with ABAP teams on developments
- Support and troubleshoot interfaces using IDOC, AIF, ALE, EDI, Proxies, and RFC
- Work with Electronic Bank Statement, Automatic Payment Program, and Migration Cockpit
- Exposure to SAP Fiori apps is an advantage
Skills & Experience:
8 to 12 years in SAP Financial Accounting
Minimum 1 Implementation and 2+ Support Projects on S/4 HANA
Strong experience in:
- ABAP Interface handling (debugging, not coding)
- Functional Spec creation
- Working with BASIS/security teams on connectivity
Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
Analytical thinking and independent problem solving
Flexible to work in shift-based support model (if required)
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to Fiori apps
- Experience with interface integrations involving third-party systems
