Job Title: BE Salesforce Commerce cloud DeveloperLocation: Pune, India.
Experience: 5+ Years
I. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C Developer to join our digital commerce team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing e-commerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. This role requires strong hands-on experience with SFRA, ISML, JavaScript, OCAPI/SCAPI, and a deep understanding of the MVC design pattern. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, scalable, and high-performing commerce solutions while ensuring exceptional customer experience
II. Roles & Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C applications using SFRA framework, ISML, JavaScript, and SCAPI/OCAPI. Implement features, enhancements, and customizations for e-commerce storefronts. Collaborate with architects, product owners, and designers to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Leverage MVC design patterns for clean and maintainable code. Integrate third-party services and payment gateways into SFCC solutions. Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot issues, debug applications, and provide ongoing support for production systems. Work with cross-functional teams to implement headless commerce and API-first architecture approaches where required. Use Page Designer to create flexible, dynamic content solutions. Maintain high-quality code standards, documentation, and adherence to best practices. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to align development goals with business objectives.
III. Years of Experience: Proven experience as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2C Developer. Typically requires 4 6 years of overall development experience with a minimum of 2 3 years in SFCC.
IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional): Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer certification (preferred).
V. Skill Set Required:
Must have: Strong proficiency in SFCC B2C development with hands-on experience in ISML, JavaScript, OCAPI/SCAPI, and SFRA. Knowledge and practical application of MVC design patterns. Experience integrating third-party services and payment solutions into e-commerce platforms. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English. Hands-on experience with Page Designer.
Nice to have: Familiarity with headless commerce and API-first architectures. Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications. Exposure to performance optimization and secure coding practices in e-commerce platforms. Experience working in agile environments with global delivery teams.
