- The test developer leverages functional knowledge to design modular, reusable, and parameterized automated test cases for vehicle dynamics and assisted driving systems. Their role spans across multiple technical and collaborative domains:
- Core Responsibilities
- Test Case Designs Automation: Based on software requirements, ensuring flexibility across vehicle types and features.
- Evaluation Function Development: Creating advanced data analysis tools for system validation.
- Checklist-Based Reviews: Ensuring quality and compliance through structured assessments.
- Bug Reporting s Management: Tracking and documenting software issues systematically.
- Test Scope Ownership: Covering both functional and component-level testing.
Technical Contributions
- Test Standards C Tooling: Enhancing testing methodologies and tools.
- Test Bench Development: Designing and refining validation platforms.
- Simulation Environment Setup: Commissioning complex systems with domain control units.
- Virtual Validation Automation: Building workflows for automated virtual testing.
- Troubleshooting: Addressing issues during initial system commissioning.
Team Collaboration
- Onboarding C Training: Educating new team members on standards and systems.
- Model Development Support: Enhancing bus models and integrating logic functions.
Mandatory Skills:
- Good proficiency in any of the programming languages C/C++, Python/CAPL/M Scripts.
- Experience in validating complex functions related to Vehicle Dynamics/Driver Assist/ESP/Brake systems
- Creation, implementation and automation of test specifications covering both software function level and component level for Vehicle Dynamics Control/ Driver Assistance systems/ Brake systems.
- Hands on exposure HIL/SIL validations using vector tools and test automation tools dSpace, control desk, automation desk
- Measurement/Analysis Tools: CANape, INCA, TraceCheck
- Tool Development/Automation: GIT + Artifactory, EXAM
Good to have:
- Commissioning simulation-based environments using simulation tools CarMaker, Carla, with domain control units.
- Diagnostic Tools: ODIS, iDEX
- Configuration Management: GitHub, SVN, PTC Integrity, MDM
- Test Bench Development involving, designing and optimization of test benches for validation purposes.
