Location: Pune

Opportunity Description
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a talented EE Test Engineers, specialising in Power Electronics, Basic knowledge of OBC / Inverters (V2L) / DC DC Converters components to join our testing team based in Pune, India
Purpose of this Role
- To perform Power Electronics Testing projects within TechM
- Executing, monitoring and documentation of all Testing projects
- Working with External Test Labs for performing the testing activities
- Working with test leads for day to testing activities and reporting
- Preparation and presentation of test logs and finding reports for status reviews
Key Responsibilities
- Owner for Test Execution as per the plan
- Perform Testing work [OBC / Inverters (V2L) / DC DC Converters]
- Ensuring on time delivery and working to the highest standards possible
- Involve working across technical specialists, adopting new processes
- Preparation and review of Test Plan against Specification with test lead
- Preparation and review of Test procedure with test lead
- Execution of Testing (inhouse and External Lab)
- Root cause analysis in case of any execution failures / schedule cost overruns
- Ensure delivery for all projects in line with Testing Process along with tracking of the Project planning
Skill set (Must to Have):
- Experience of testing work related to Power electronics components id desirable
(DC AC Inverter/DC DC Converter/On Board Charger)
- Experience in EMC and EMI
- Experience with test equipment and hardware / software such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and simulations.
- Knowledge of international EMC standards such as FCC, CISPR, and IEC.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC tests as per various international standards such as IEC, EN, CISPR, ISO, FCC, MIL, DO 160 etc.
- Knowledge of RE, RI, CE, CI, ESD, Surge, EFT, Impulse, V dips & Int, H&F, PFMF, Telecom Surge, etc. across Automotive, and commercial vehicles
- Basic knowledge of Environmental tests like Hot and Cold chamber test, Climatic test and Vibration tests
Experience
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in Product Validation / Testing
- Working experience on any one of the product testing cycles.
- Documentation of Technical Specifications, DFMEA, DVP, Timing Plans, Minutes and Actions of Meetings

- A passion for learning Automotive engineering
- Delivery focused, to track record of on time delivery
- Self motivated to deliver excellence and perform for assigned targets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to organise day to day planned test activities, reviews and convey design changes to Test lead
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage assigned work
- Must have a flexible approach to working hours, travel requirements and adaptability to changing and multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of current legal standards and directives
- Problem solving abilities
- Able to connect and coordinate with suppliers for test requirement
- Ability to work as a team player to enhance the project team environment
