Job Description
Job Title: MS Power Apps Developer
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 5 8 years (adjust as required)
I. Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced MS Power Apps Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale applications leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform. This role involves working closely with global teams, leading technical design discussions, and driving quality solutions that align with enterprise architecture and best practices. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, takes full ownership of deliverables, and has the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
II. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and implement enterprise-scale applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Lead the development and enhancement of PowerApps model-driven and canvas apps.
- Automate business processes using Microsoft Power Automate (Flow) and create custom connectors where necessary.
- Collaborate with global teams to provide technical direction and ensure solutions align with the technology blueprint.
- Reverse-engineer and understand existing applications to identify gaps and propose technical solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and support teams to drive solutions to completion, taking full ownership of deliverables.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, engineering excellence, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure performance of Power Platform solutions.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and processes for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.
5 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 4 years working with Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate).
IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional): - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200) are a plus.
Must Have:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven apps) and Power Automate.
- Proficient in PL/SQL (Oracle preferred) for backend data operations.
- Strong understanding of PowerApps formulas, development methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to automate business processes and create custom connectors in Microsoft Flow.
- Experience with enterprise-scale application analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work across distributed teams.
- Strong commitment to quality, engineering excellence, and end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Concourse, and code repositories like Stash.
- Familiarity with cloud adoption (AWS preferred), EKS, Docker, and microservices.
- Experience with transaction management, multi-thread programming, and modern DevOps practices.
