Job Description
- As a Cost & Finance Manager at Siemens Gamesa, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of finances within the supply chain operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining the landed cost of each component for Operations - Participating in vendor negotiations and evaluating Supplier contracts" Terms & conditions - Coordinating with supply chain teams to guide financial decision-making - Preparing cost benefit models for sourcing of material based on Project Requirements - Monitoring commodity prices and participating in cost reduction measures - Working on Annual, Quarterly, and Monthly Budget/FC - DMC in coordination with tech counterparts - Monthly development of Price movement for A&B class material - Managing financial risks associated with supply chain operations - Implementing KPIs for financial performance within the supply chain - Indexation of Commodities covered under price variation clause To make a difference in this role, you should possess: - 7+ years of experience in managing finance, costing, etc. activities in Supply Chain - Professional Qualification: CA/MBA/CWA - Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to interpret cost data and align decisions with business goals - Negotiation skills and ability to work cross-functionally with supply chain and finance/Technical teams - Experience in SAP environment and proficiency in tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc. - Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and proficiency in English - Drive culture of Responsibility, Accountability & Ownership Siemens Gamesa, part of Siemens Energy, is a global leader in energy technology committed to sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy solutions.
