- Job Description: As a Commis Chef specializing in Indian snacks and fast food at Gopals 56 in South East Delhi, your role is crucial in maintaining the quality, taste, and authenticity of our dishes. Your passion for street-style Indian cuisine and ability to multitask in a dynamic kitchen environment will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook a variety of Indian snacks and fast food items such as Momos, Chowmein, Chilli Potato, Samosas, Kachoris, Chole Kulche, Cone Chaat, etc. - Make mojitos and basic cold beverages - Handle cutting, chopping, and mise-en-place according to daily requirements - Adhere to recipes, portion control, and plating standards - Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene and food safety - Assist senior chefs during peak hours and large-scale preparations - Monitor inventory usage and report shortages - Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and maintaining workstation cleanliness Qualifications & Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of experience in Indian snacks or fast food preparation (preferred) - Familiarity with North Indian street food & Indo-Chinese fast food - Proficient in following hygiene SOPs and kitchen protocols - Strong chopping, cutting, and food presentation skills - Punctual, disciplined, and able to work well in a team - Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays (Note: Additional details about the company were not included in the provided job description),
