Job Description

    As an Executive Chef at our establishment in Kolkata, you will play a crucial role in leading the culinary operations. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth food production - Designing innovative menus based on seasonal availability, guest preferences, and industry trends - Maintaining consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control - Managing kitchen staff through hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations - Controlling food costs by managing inventory, portion control, and negotiating with vendors - Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (FSSAI norms) - Collaborating with F&B and service teams for seamless operations and guest satisfaction - Supervising equipment and kitchen infrastructure maintenance - Regularly evaluating food quality and implementing improvements Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 8-10 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in professional kitchens - Expertise in Indian and/or Continental cuisine preferred; multi-cuisine experience is a plus - Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institute - Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills - Excellent understanding of cost control, inventory management, and budgeting - Ability to lead under pressure and maintain team morale You will also enjoy the following benefits: - Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses - Meals and uniform provided - Opportunities for growth within a reputed hospitality brand - Exposure to diverse culinary operations and innovations To apply for this position, please send your CV to hidden_mobile.
