Job summary: Lead Scalable AI Platform Architecture for Healthcare Transformation
Join a pioneering SaaS leader using AI to revolutionize US healthcare data. As a hands-on Technical Architect, you'll design, optimize, and roll out our core platforms while driving key development. Demand deep expertise in Java, Python, Spring Boot, ETL (Airflow), and messaging (SQS/RabbitMQ). Mastery of AWS, microservices, and DevOps automation is essential. Own technical debt, cost optimization, and build reusable tools that elevate the entire engineering org. Architect the future while staying in the code.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Technical Leadership & Execution
- Architect and build scalable, high-performance systems, leading critical design decisions and hands-on coding (Java full-stack).
- Own end-to-end deliveryfrom prototyping to productionensuring robustness, security, and maintainability.
- Optimize engineering processes (CI/CD, testing, observability) to accelerate development without sacrificing quality.
- 2. Team Development & Mentorship
- Coach and elevate senior engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and operational rigor.
- Set technical standards through code reviews, design sessions, and best practices in distributed systems.
- 3. Strategic Impact
- Align engineering with business goals, working closely with Product and AI teams to prioritize high-impact initiatives.
Anticipate technical debt and scalability risks, proactively driving improvements.
Evaluate emerging tech (tools, frameworks, AI/ML advancements) to maintain a competitive edge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, HR, and operations teams across India and the US.
- Ensure alignment of IT services with business needs and global standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and policies.
- Provide regular reports on IT performance, incidents, and improvements.
Desired Profile:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and support roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of desktop support, networking, and system administration.
- Experience working with distributed teams across India and the US.
- Knowledge of data security principles and compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience in IT procurement and vendor management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., JAMF, Intune).
- Exposure to healthcare or regulated industries is a plus.
