Full Stack Developer - Frontend Focused

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in frontend technologies, particularly UI styling, JavaScript/jQuery and REACT development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging user interfaces while maintaining full-stack capabilities to support end-to-end application development.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development (Primary Focus - 70%)
- Design and implement responsive, cross-browser compatible user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling frameworks
- Develop interactive web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, REACT and other frontend libraries
- Create and maintain reusable UI components and style guides
- Optimize frontend performance and ensure mobile responsiveness
- Implement modern CSS techniques including Flexbox, Grid, animations, and transitions
- Work with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) and build tools (Webpack, Gulp)
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG guidelines) and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with frontend workshop tool like storybook used for building, testing, and documenting UI .
- Experience with AEM Template and component development using various frontend technologies like HTL, REACT.
Backend Development (Secondary - 30%)
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using [specify technology stack, e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP, etc.]
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend applications using JavaScript/Node.js
- Focus on handling data fetching, state management, and synchronization between frontend frameworks and backend services
- Develop using Fetch API, Axios, Promises, and async/await for handling asynchronous operations
- Experience with GraphQL query language, schema design, and client-side GraphQL libraries
- Perform code reviews and maintain version control using Git
Collaboration & Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional interfaces
- Work closely with backend developers and other team members in an agile environment
- Conduct thorough testing including unit tests, integration tests, and cross-browser testing
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full application stack
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 6+ years of experience in full-stack web development
- 1+ years of experience in AEM
- Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong experience with jQuery and DOM manipulation
- Proficiency in responsive design and CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.)
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less, Stylus)
- Experience in REACT
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus
- Backend development experience with at least one server-side technology
- Database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Version control proficiency with Git
- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail for pixel-perfect implementations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Adaptability to learn new technologies and frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with build tools (Webpack, Parcel, Vite)
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Selenium)
- Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
- Understanding of SEO principles and web analytics
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of progressive web app (PWA) development
