Job Description
- Role Overview: As part of the HARMAN Automotive team, you will be responsible for shaping and driving Harmans cloud-based automotive software development toolchains. Your role will involve leading a small team to ensure the highest quality of the toolchain product through automated testing at scale. You will play a crucial role in transforming HARMAN Automotive into a leading tech player in software by demonstrating technical and business acumen. Key Responsibilities: - Continuously improve the quality of the toolchain product through meticulous and automated testing at scale. - Focus on moving the majority of testing of cockpit automotive software to the cloud and automating it. - Create test plans and test cases for various forms of testing and execute different forms of testing like smoke, sanity, release, regression, stress testing, etc. - Lead a small team to ensure the quality of the product is maintained and improved, maximizing team output. - Efficiently integrate cloud-based testing into the CICD pipeline to reduce development lead time and optimize cloud costs. - Design and implement a cloud-based testing framework that is highly scalable and enables parallel testing. - Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and automotive industry trends to adapt quickly to new technologies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent; BE with MBA preferred. - 10-15 years of overall software validation experience. - At least 5 years of experience in validating web-based SaaS applications and automotive infotainment software. - Experience in automating test suites for web-based SaaS applications and automotive infotainment software. - Experience with Azure public cloud and driving test architecture from requirements to deployment. - Exposure to Google Compliance Testing and related test suites. - Good understanding of development project cycles, continuous integration and deployment, and test-driven development practices. - Strong problem-solving skills, awareness of DevOps and Agile principles, and expertise in scripting languages like Python and Ruby. - Demonstrated experience owning a feature from requirements analysis to market availability. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
