Job Description
- As a Computer Vision Engineer at Nayan, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. Your role will require diving deep into challenging technical problems to develop innovative solutions that contribute to successful products. You will be working with large datasets containing billions of images and videos to build scalable machine learning systems. Your ability to deliver high-quality code that solves complex real-world problems will play a crucial role in delighting customers. **Key Responsibilities** - Research, design, implement, and evaluate novel computer vision algorithms - Work on large-scale datasets to build accurate computer vision systems in diverse application fields - Collaborate with team members from prototyping to production level development - Drive real-time implementations on Linux and/or Java based platforms in collaboration with software engineering teams - Provide clear management reports on general engineering activities regularly **What You'll Do** - Prototype and develop deep learning driving systems and perception algorithms on Linux, Java, Android, and embedded platforms - Develop systems for inference time optimization - Design, implement, test, and maintain perception software for vehicles - Analyze large datasets and work with raw sensor data - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and communicate work effectively **Qualifications** **Basic Qualifications** - 3 years experience in research and development of computer vision algorithms - Degree in Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Artificial Intelligence with a focus on Computer Vision, Neural Nets, and Deep Learning - Proficiency in machine learning, algorithms, and computational complexity - Experience in implementing computer vision algorithms using toolkits and self-developed code - Proficiency in Java, C++, or other programming languages, as well as R, MATLAB, Python, or similar scripting languages - Experience with software development in embedded real-time systems - Strong C/C++ programming and software design skills - Advanced experience in CUDA - Understanding of DL frameworks like neon, Torch, or Tensorflow **Preferred Qualifications** - 3-5 years experience in research and development of computer vision algorithms - Experience with HPC computing architecture - Practical experience in Deep Learning with TensorFlow / Caffe or similar - Advanced Experience in Python, OpenCV, C/C++, and Matlab development - Familiarity with 3D geometry and depth sensing - Experience in CPU/GPGPU code optimizations - Algorithm development experience and understanding of computer vision algorithms - Technical fluency and ability to discuss architectural concepts and algorithms effectively - Publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals - Experience in object detection, recognition, 3D computer vision, and/or tracking - Leveraging large code bases and computer vision libraries/toolkits for new solutions - Previous work in automotive applications This job at Nayan offers a dynamic environment where you can contribute to innovative solutions that have a meaningful impact on people's lives.
