Job Description

    You will be responsible for performing physics and multi-physics modeling in the areas of ionizing-radiation transport, thermal, mechanical, and electricity and magnetism to support the development of novel cancer therapy systems. Your role involves independently developing novel approaches to solve computational problems, performing complex modeling simulations, contributing to innovative designs using your modeling, programming, and computational skills, working with a cross-functional team to translate prototypes into products, and providing technical expertise for projects with collaborators. You will need to follow internal design controls and change control processes diligently. Key Responsibilities: - Independently develop novel approaches to solving computational problems - Perform complex modeling simulations - Contribute to innovative designs using modeling, programming, and computational skills - Work with a cross-functional team to translate prototypes into products - Provide technical expertise for projects with collaborators - Follow internal design controls and change control processes diligently Qualifications Required: - Graduate degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - Strong background in Modeling and Numerical Analysis - Proven experience with simulation software packages such as Ansys, Comsol, INTEGRATED Engineering, and Simulia - Ability to multi-task, work independently, prioritize, take initiative, and follow through - Proficient in C/C++/Python programming Additionally, the company values the following qualifications: - Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (IITs and national labs preferred) - Experience in developing multi-physics models involving mechanical, thermal, electricity, and magnetism - Experience in Monte Carlo Simulations - Extensive experience using Matlab and Python Please note that this is a full-time position based in Chandigarh, India. Relocation to Mohali, Punjab, is required before starting work.,
