Job Description
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Python and ReactJS to join our collaborative team. This role involves leading application development, mentoring a team of engineers, and delivering robust, scalable solutions while ensuring high-quality standards across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Python and ReactJS
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create technical designs, and align solutions with business goals
- Supervise and mentor team members to elevate engineering standards and foster professional growth
- Conduct technical reviews, including code reviews, to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance benchmarks
- Oversee software development processes and ensure successful end-to-end delivery of projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across the development lifecycle
- Drive the integration of cloud infrastructure and automation tools for seamless CI/CD processes
- Monitor, optimize, and maintain application performance and scalability
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration among development, QA, and deployment teams to achieve project goals
- Facilitate exploration and adoption of new technologies to enhance system capabilities
Requirements
- 7-12 years of experience in software development
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Proficiency in Python for application development, with a proven track record of delivering scalable solutions (5+ years)
- Skills in UI/UX development using ReactJS, ideally with Material UI frameworks
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks and TypeScript for developing modern web applications
- Hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure technologies such as Terraform and ArgoCD
- Background in using continuous delivery tools like ADO Pipelines and GitHub Actions
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and SDLC best practices
- Capability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Showcase of problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex technical challenges
