Job Summary:
The Backend Engineer is a key part of the AGILE development team that is responsible for building and
maintaining enterprise-grade, automation software to help customers unlock their
potential in the banking and F&I industries. The engineer is responsible for consistently delivering
performant, secure and efficient solutions. Their role will include creation and maintenance of: Cloud
based applications, web-based applications, and communication services.
The ideal candidate will provide innovative solutions to common business scenarios and leverage the
latest technologies to continue advancing the value of the OpCon automation platform.Experience:
Required: 4+ years of Backend Engineer experience
Proficient with .net, C#, SQL
Expertise in Restful APIs, Kubernetes.
Nice to haves
Experience with App Services, Functions, Container instances, Azure AD, Application Insights,
Cloud Events, Azure Security Groups, Network Gateways, Azure Storage, API Management.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Azure Resource Manager templates, Azure SQL,
Serverless.
Experience with containerization technologies, such as, Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with testing technologies, such as, Cypress and Selenium
Experience with source control technologies, such as, Git, GitHub, or Azure Repos
Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the team towards consistent delivery of technical solutions and adhere to the highest
standards of code quality.
Collaborate with teammates to design, implement, deliver, and test backend code.
Write and maintain unit tests and automated integration tests.
Write and maintain specification documents.
Create scalable, performant services to meet enterprise-scale requirements.
Contribute to team-wide tooling to automate the development lifecycle.
Perform peer software reviews that enforce coding standards.
Ensure compliance with company policy and procedure as part of ISO 27001:2013
Certification program.
Maintain positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get
along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
Other duties as assigned.
