Sr.Software Engineer (Mirth Engineer)

We are looking for an experienced Mirth Connect Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support healthcare system integrations. The role involves building and maintaining interfaces between our Electronic Health Record (EHR) and external systems (labs, billing, HIE, FHIR APIs) using Mirth Connect and related technologies.Roles and Responsibilites:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to think and act strategically and creatively
- Design, develop, and maintain Mirth Connect channels for inbound and outbound interfaces (HL7, FHIR, CCD/CDA, X12, etc.).
- Configure source and destination connectors (LLP, HTTP/S, File, Database, JMS).
- Write and maintain transformation scripts (JavaScript/Java, XML/XSLT, SQL) for data mapping and enrichment.
- Implement secure authentication mechanisms (TLS, OAuth2, certificates) and ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling.
- Monitor and troubleshoot interface issues; handle message reprocessing and dead-letter queues.
- Work with Client POCs to gather requirements, plan interfaces, and coordinate testing.
- Maintain version control, documentation, and deployment pipelines for channel configurations.
- Support performance tuning, scaling, and clustering of Mirth Connect servers.
- Provide production support for live interfaces and participate in an on-call rotation if needed.

- Secondary, Higher Secondary (or it s equivalent) and Graduation level (aggregate)
- Strong Communication & interpersonal Skills.
