Apache Solr -JD
- Experience: 3 to 10 years
- Skill: Lucene, Apache Solr, Lucidworks Fusion;Spring Boot;Java

APACHE SOLR :
- At least 3 to 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE and related technologies with sound understanding of design principles.
- Proven experience in designing and developing search solutions using Apache SOLR and/or Lucid Works Fusion in the last 3 to 4 years.
- Solid understanding of search engine technologies, search algorithms, and data structures
- Experience with indexing, querying, and analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Familiarity with search relevance models and ranking techniques.
- Good hands on experience with Spring Boot Framework, RESTful APIs, and Microservices based architecture
- Experience as a Tech Lead and ability to provide guidance in designing and architecting critical software applications
- Experience maintaining and designing applications on AWS
- Experience with building efficient distributed, scalable, high quality software services, microservices
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with database technologies and SQL
- Experience in Agile methodologies, and CI/CD DevOps tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions, GitHub Co-pilot etc.)
- Experience with databases Postgres, Oracle, NoSQL DB. & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade applications using Java/J2EE and related technologies, applying advanced design principles and patterns honed over a minimum of 10 years.
- Lead the creation and enhancement of search solutions using Apache Solr and/or Lucidworks Fusion, with at least 3-4 years of recent, hands-on experience in building high-performance search capabilities.
- Architect and implement sophisticated search engine technologies, leveraging expertise in search algorithms, data structures, indexing, querying, and relevance tuning to manage large-scale structured and unstructured healthcare datasets (e.g., EHRs, clinical notes).
- Drive the processing and analysis of voluminous data, ensuring seamless performance, scalability, and adherence to healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Utilize Python to develop tools, scripts, or integrations that support healthcare workflows or data processing needs.
- Champion Agile methodologies and orchestrate CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Copilot, ensuring rapid, reliable delivery of software solutions.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Spring Boot, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and database systems (Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) to build resilient, cloud-ready applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex healthcare requirements into technical solutions, providing thought leadership on system architecture and performance optimization.
