Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Analyst with around 3-6 years of experience in both manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, with strong expertise in designing, executing, and automating test cases as per defined test strategies and plans.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications by creating test cases, executing them, and implementing automation frameworks to optimize the testing process.
Key Skills (Must-Have):
- Manual Testing of Web & Mobile Applications
- Automation Testing (Selenium / Cypress / Appium or similar)
- API Testing (Postman, JMeter)
- Test Management & Bug Tracking Tools (JIRA or similar)
- Agile/Scrum Methodologies
- Basic SQL for Database Testing
- Knowledge of SDLC & QA Best Practices
Role & Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide constructive feedback.
- Build and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities effectively.
- Identify, log, document, and track bugs through resolution.
- Perform thorough regression and retesting, including validation of bug fixes.
- Design and maintain automation test suites to ensure scalability and efficiency of testing efforts.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Participate in daily scrums and sprint activities, providing timely status updates on QA progress.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with QA best practices.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks/tools (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or equivalent).
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication (written & verbal) and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in SQL for database validation.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
