Senior Python Engineer
Experience: 5+ years Location: [Gurgaon or Bangalore ]
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing backend services and APIs, leveraging modern Python frameworks and best practices. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for high performance and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Implement and maintain integrations with databases (SQL & NoSQL), messaging systems, and third-party APIs.
Contribute to system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Drive automation, testing strategies (unit, integration, performance), and CI/CD practices.
Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of backend services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in Python development.Strong knowledge of Python frameworks: Django, Flask, or FastAPI.Expertise in API design & development (REST/GraphQL).
Hands-on experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.Proficiency in object-oriented design, design patterns, and data structures.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for deploying applications.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Strong debugging, optimization, and performance tuning skills.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
